Allan Cavanagh (b. 1975) is an Irish cartoonist and caricature artist based in Galway.
He grew up in Greencastle, County Donegal, and moved to Galway in 1994 to study sculpture at Galway Regional Technical College. He did set design work for the Galway theatre company Macnas until 2001. In 2002 his work was featured in the Sculptors' Society of Ireland's National Sculpture Day. He contributed cartoons for Charley Adley's satirical column "Double Vision" in the Connacht Tribune from 2003-2006. He has also illustrated health promotional material for the Health Service Executive and Cardiff Centre for Health.
In 2006 Cavanagh received a First Class Honours Degree in English, Political Science and Sociology from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
In 2008 he represented Ireland at the Tourcoing Press Cartoon Festival in France.
