Blackshapes is a one-off comic by Philip Barrett about a would-be writer whose creative ambitions clash with his excuses at the expense of his family life. It was first published in fold-out format in 2006, and reprinted in a more conventional stapled comic format in 2009. "Blackshapes" is also the name of Phil's blog.
