Paper Cuts Issue 5
Damien O'Reilly is the creator of the comic/zine Paper Cuts, under the imprint of Clover Comics. It featured a mix of poetry and stream of conciousness writings alongside pen and pencil sketchings and cut-up style, ran to at least eight issues in 1998-2001, and was carried in Irish comic book stores. Although content was largely generated by O'Reilly, it also featured contributions from Lauren O'Rourke and Ailbhe Darcy.
O'Reilly currently edits Pinback, a literature and art magazine based in Cardiff. The form bears some similarities with Paper Cuts and maintains links through it's distribution in Dublin stores.
