There are branches of Forbidden Planet International in Belfast and Dublin, and there was formerly one in Limerick.
Belfast[]
The Belfast branch has been at 52-54 Ann Street since about 2004. It moved there from 47 Winetavern Street. Before 2002 or so it was an independent comic shop called Talisman. It has been managed throughout by John McMahon, and its employees have included Malachy Coney and Stephen Downey.
Dublin[]
The Dublin branch is at 5-6 Crampton Quay. It was founded by Kenny Penman in December 1987, originally at 36 Dawson Street.
the opening was incorrectly advertised in 2000AD as happening the week before the actual opening.
Limerick[]
There was once a branch in Limerick, at 39-40 Roches Street, and later in Patrick Street, but it closed about 2003 or 2004.
