John Moore (b. Dundalk, 1970) filmmaker and comics writer, was educated at the Dublin Institute of Technology, and after graduations made a series of short films and directed several adverts, and founded a production company, Clingfilms, before directing his first feature film, Behind Enemy Lines (2001) for 20th Century Fox. This was followed by Flight of the Phoenix (2004), The Omen (2006), Max Paine (2008), and the forthcoming Virulents.
He is co-writing a four issue comic miniseries, Dead Soldier, with Richie Smyth, drawn by Dean Hyrapiet, to be published by Dynamite Entertainment and Liquid Comics, beginning in September 2010.
