Philip Barrett is a comics writer-artist from County Donegal who, after a time resident in Canada, is now based in Dublin. His work mainly consists of contemporary short stories drawn in a clean-lined brush style. His comics include:
- The webcomic Wage Slave (2001)
- A Crack in the Shell (2001-2002), three issues collecting short strips
- Matter (2003-), a series collecting his short strips, up to 11 issues and a summer special so far
- Lint (2006), a collection of short strips
- Blackshapes (2006), about a would-be writer struggling to write to the detriment of his home and work life
- Gazebo (2008), a collection of short strips written by Liam Geraghty
- My First Festival (2009), a tale of music-festival-going
- The Human in Me (2010), a 62 page collection of short pieces published by Verbal Press
- Threes (2010) with Cliodhna Lyons and Maeve Clancy
- Where's Larry? (The O'Brien Press, 2012)
With Patrick Lynch and Katie Blackwood, he is one of the founders of Edition Book Arts.
