Plight of the Wild Geese is a historical graphic novel written by Dermot Poyntz, illustrated by Lee Grace and published by Moccu Press in November 2011, following War of the Two Kings. In 1690, after James II's defeat by William of Orange in the Battle of Boyne, he appeals for help to the French king, Louis XIV, who hopes to keep William occupied in Ireland and out of the war in Flanders. The book takes in the Siege of Limerick and the Battle of Aughrim.
