Richard Barr is a Belfast-born screenwriter, poet and comics creator.
Barr began his contribution to comics contributing reviews on mini-comics to TRS2 between 2000-2001.
During the same period he contributed illustrations, editing and printing duties to The Implausibility of Reason, a Beat-movement inspired illustrated story by Marcel Angel.
He is the co-creator of the popular Hold the Phones, it's Alex Jones! with Andrew Luke. Working under the psuedonym of Professor Octagon, he is credited with co-writing eight stories in the collection, including one drawn by Bisson. He wrote and drew the pieces, 3,2, 1 - Happy 1984, Alex Jones and Jeans That Will Fit You Right, and created the cover for the anthology.
