The Art of Cake Diving, die-cut wraparound cover by Cliodhna Lyons
The Art of Cake Diving is a wordless mini-comic by Cliodhna Lyons, in which a voluptuous woman in victorian era style clothing enters a room full of cakes, undresses, lets her hair down and joyously dives in. It started life as a six page story created during 2007's 24 Hour Comics Day, and was published as a mini comic in March 2008 with retouched art, two extra pages and a die-cut wraparound colour cover. A screen printed version was produced in June 2008 with the interior pages consisting of five separations printed on off-white Rives BFK paper and the cover consisting of three separations printed on recycled card. The edition was a limited run of 38. This version is now available on the web.
