Brendan et le secret de Kells (2009)

Brendan et le secret de Kells ("Brendan and the secret of Kells") is a two-volume comics adaptation in French of the animated film The Secret of Kells by the film's co-director Tomm Moore. Set in the 9th century, it follows twelve-year-old Brendan as he fulfils his dream of being an illuminator on the Book of Kells, while facing his fears of Viking invasion. Story and artwork for the comic was provided by Tomm Moore, colour work was provided by Fabian Erlinghauser, Ray Forkin and Svend Rothman Bonde with lettering, in french and dutch, done by Cliodhna Lyons.
